IIT JEE and AIEEE has been scrapped and has been replaced by JEE Main 2013 and JEE Advanced 2013. Both of the exams have to be given in order to get admission in IITs. The last date to apply is 15th December, 2013. Information related to State Entrance Examination Uttar Pradesh Technical University (SEE-UPTU):

The Entrance Examination for admission to first year of the following courses offered at the Institutions affiliated to U.P.Technical University, Lucknow (including other universities situated in territory Uttar Pradesh) shall be conducted by UPTU as SEE-UPTU.

(i) 4 year B.Tech. / B.Tech (Ag.Engg.) Course
(ii) 4 year B.Pharm. Course
(iii) 5 year B.Arch. Course
(iv) 4 year BFAD Course
(v) 4 year BHMCT Course
(vi) 2 year MBA Course
(vii) 3 year MCA Course

Eligibility to Appear in SEE-UPTU for Admission to First Year of B.TECH. / B.PHARM. / B.ARCH. / BHMCT / BFAD.

1. For admission to first year of B.Tech / B.Phama. / BHMCT / BFAD, candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U.P.Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent for any recognized Board/University. The candidate is essentially required to pass (as per respective Board/University) in each subject of the group.

2. For admission to first year of B.Arch. a candidate must have passed intermediate examination of U.P.Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board/University, securing (i) minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC,ST). The candidate is essentially required to pass (as per respective Board/University) in each subject of the group. A candidate possessing three years Diploma in Architecture (10+3) recognized by Central / State Govt. is also eligible for securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Such candidates will have to appear in the entrance examination for first year of B.Arch. Paper.

3. For admission to B.Tech. (Marine Engineering) programme the candidate must.

(A) (i) have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with minimum 60% marks in the total of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. (ii) alongwith minimum 50% marks in English at (10+2) or 10th level.

(B) (i) submit a Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of counselling from a Doctor approved by the Director General of Shipping (DGS) as per the Merchant Shipping (Medical Examination Rules 2000) date 19-01-2000
