Welcome to PhyLAB (Learn, Analyse & Build)... the process of learning and teaching Physics.... In this blog I welcome each and every students who are appearing for their Physics-ISC examination. I will try to upload questions, movies and other materials which I have been using as a teaching aid. We at PhyLAB make sure you win over your frustrations or helplessness while learning physics and its related concepts.

Solution of Projectile Problems
Here are some of the selected solutions from the projectile motion:
You can notice in the video below, when any projectile is thrown from the ground level then for angle of projection of 45°, the range is maximum. Also one can easily notice that for angle of projections being complementary pair (e.g.15° & 75°pair, 30° & 60° pair etc.) the range of the projectile remains same.
One should also appreciate and notice an important fact of projectile motion under the influence of gravitational field (ball thrown in air making some angle etc) that the x-component of velocity remains unchanged as there is no component of acceleration acting on it, while the y-component of velocity first decreases during the upward flight of the motion and then increases during the downward flight of the motion. This fact is documented wonderfully in the video below, both by the vector diagram as well as by the graphs.
